This commission began with damage rather than design — a sports bike in need of a full respray after an accident. Rather than simply restoring it to standard, the client saw an opportunity to make it entirely her own.

She didn't arrive with a fixed idea, but the direction emerged from her: her arms carry a number of tattoos, and those became the starting reference for the bike's design language. A love of elephants led to mandala-style elephant motifs woven into the artwork — personal symbolism rather than decoration for its own sake.

The bike itself fades from a solid cream through to a light pearl over brown, while the artwork fades in the opposite direction across the same gradient — two elements moving against each other rather than simply layered on top. Fine pin striping was added last, picked out along areas where the fairings' natural lines suited the style.

All of the imagery was hand airbrushed directly onto the individual panels. The most demanding part wasn't the artwork itself, but the planning behind it — laying out each design so that once every panel was reassembled onto the bike, the imagery lined up seamlessly across the joins. Get that wrong, and the whole effect falls apart; get it right, and the bike reads as one continuous piece rather than a set of painted parts.
